‘Athiratha’ title derived from ‘Sarathi’ Kannada film of challenging star Darshan ‘Athiratha Maharatha Sarathi….an auto song very famous mounted the sets on Saturday at Kanteerava studio. Like how Darshan was in auto driver uniform, the hero of this film ‘Athiratha’ will be also driving the auto owned by his father. That is Pawan Soorya. He is now with ‘Goolihatti’ heroine Tejaswini again.

Producers Bhuvan Chandrakanth and Mahesh CN are realtors and Ekadanta Chit Fund Company owners in Wilson Garden. They are investing over 2 crores of rupees on this project. Mahesh clearly mentioned that we are not doing film from chit fund money of the public. Shashank Goolihatti director is executive producer of this film.

Debutant director of this film ‘Athiratha’ Muthuraj hails from Chennai. He is not aware of Kannada. He has worked in 14 Tamil films. The incident happened in Pondicherry is his base for the script. ‘One best friend is equal to thousand friends; one worst friend is equal to thousand problems’ he says. The protagonist has three worst friends and that means to say he has 3000 problems to face. This is a commercial film. The latest technology of social media is utilized for this film purpose.

Pawan Soorya in his second film as hero says the subject demands split personality capabilities. A workshop is going on and three shades I have to manage in this film.
